Lakes, resorts and more in Khao Sok

Khao Sok is an amazing place in Thailand and many people who go there are even surprised how its not known a little more  worldwide. I mean you have Phuket and Pattaya which are probably the 2 best known holiday destination in Thailkand but  just does not offer the quality experiece you would get in Khao Sok. I mean evern the resorts give you a different  experience than these 2 places. The lakes in Khao Sok are crystal clear which makes great diving and swimming spot. Tree  house resorts and even rafthouse resorts on teh lake make this place in my opinion the best place in Thailand.

Right now this has to be one of the best place to visit, the rain forest has some of the most rarest species of birds in the world  with over 500 species, the jungle treks are absolutely amazing. If you would like to see nature at its best, you need to  go see Khao Sok. 
One thing great about Khao Sok is you can get a great adventure no matter what tours you go on and the resorts are also  amazing wheather your staying in a tree house, bugalow or rafthouse, you will feel close to nature. That is one of the beaties about Khao Sok, it is not over developed like many popular places in Thailand and is still a pretty untouched place. The amount of wildlife around is absolutely amazing and its just a place you need to visit once in your lifetime.

The lakes with limestone cliffs have been formed over thousands of years which has created great cliffs for moutain climbing. There are some great climbing routes around Khao sok from beginners to advanced climbers. There is also a number of tours that you can go on like jungle trekking, rubber tubin down the lake, night safari's, bird watching and much more.
So next  time you are in Thailand and want a great holiday or even an expat, please give Khao Sok a go, it really is a great place to explore or just sit back and relax while being surrounded by nature.
